This project is one of the most memorable interiors our studio has created.
The clients purchased an apartment with a developer-provided finish — clean and neutral, but somewhat monotonous. The purchase of this apartment was made as an investment for the purpose of resale, so we faced an unusual task.
We studied and formulated a portrait of a potential buyer, based on our experience and the experience of an investor. It was important for us to understand their values and lifestyle. The idea to distinguish this apartment from the others in the house arose instantly. While the developer offered light and «soft» interiors we decided to take a bolder, more «sensuous» approach, infused with a touch of gallery-inspired flair. The result is an interior that’s strict in form yet warm in feeling — striking a balance between sophistication and comfort.
The bathroom was a particular highlight, finished with a mix of textures and materials from Salvatori — our idea of a perfect bathroom.
The apartment also features carefully chosen design pieces: the iconic Etcetera lounge chair by Swedish designer Jan Ekselius, and a bold art piece in the bedroom by Berlin-based artist Eva Jablonski, turning the space into a true art-infused home.
The project became a winner at the 6th International Festival «House on Brestskaya».
